Team Eldorado

Jeremy Hafer joined TEAM Eldorado as the Tennis Director in June 2023. A native Texan, he has been around tennis his entire life, playing the sport for 40+ years and coaching for 25+ years. As a player, Jeremy was fortunate enough to play a couple of tour-level tournaments, as well as getting the opportunity to hit with some of the best players in the world. He was also ranked #1 in the country in the USTA 25's and 30's divisions.

As a coach, Jeremy got the chance to work with players of all different ages and levels. He coached a USTA juniors team to Nationals in 1992 and was able to lead TCD Ladies, Metro, and USTA teams all to National Champions.

"I love teaching tennis because it's really a cool thing to see players improve and grow."

Brandon Mathey was first introduced to tennis at age 7, where he immediately fell in love with the sport. Shortly after, he became a top-level USTA junior in the state of Texas and got an opportunity to play tennis for Collin County Community College.

Brandon first joined TEAM Eldorado in July 2019 as an Assistant Tennis Professional. He completed his USPTA Professional Certification as well as earning a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. In August 2023, Brandon was given the role of Director of Junior Development, and since then has been in charge of planning and coaching the junior classes.

“I love teaching tennis because I love the ability to share my passion for the sport with others and to see them benefit from it. It is really fun to see players grow and learn to enjoy the sport more because of it.”

Director of Juniors

Meaghan joined Team Eldorado in March 2021 after discovering her love for tennis in 2020. She began taking lessons with one of our coaches and quickly picked up the sport. She was thrown onto a USTA 3.5 team as a singles player which helped her game grow even more. Since then, she has played every season she can on the USTA 3.5 team, and now plays doubles on the Eldorado FireBallers TCD Ladies team and the Eldorado Bushwood B&B’s TCD Mixed team. In December 2021, she participated in her first tournament at the Dallas Cotton Bowl Classic where she won in the Finals Consolation draw.

She began her coaching career as a Summer Camp Counselor and continued into the fall, teaching the Red/Orange ball class for juniors. Her background as a professional nanny plus her passion for tennis makes her a great teacher for our little ones. She primarily teaches kids 10 and under, helping them develop gross motor skills, giving them a basic tennis foundation, and most of all making sure they have fun!

In addition to her on-court presence, she is the go-to person in our Pro Shop. Meaghan manages all communication about drills, leagues, and events. She keeps the shop (and the boys) in order by handling inventory, maintaining the décor of the shop, and keeping everything organized! She has been a wonderful addition to our team and to the tennis community here at Eldorado.
